Supreme Courts, Nicosia, Cyprus
Competition for the New Supreme Courts. The site is literally on the Green Line that divides Greek Cyrpus from the Turkish North. The images shown here describe a city that has been divided since 1974. We were second phase finalists. The competition was carried out in association with George Katodrytis in Cyprus and developed here in London with Structural Engineers Anthony Hunt ; Environmental Engineers Atelier 1 and Acoustic Engineers Bickerdike Allen.
