"Living in the City"

A competition entry for the Bishopsgate site that proposed increasing housing density fourfold by the creation of new layers or strata upon the city.

Housing units are accommodated in six towers and a number of bridge structures. The towers range in height form 70 to 110 metres. The inhabited bridges are between two and three stories high. The roofs are landscaped and serve as semi-public circulation routes.
