A mixed development for a dead-end site in Amsterdam Oost. Means of communication and movement are intensified, layered and expressed to the maximum... drawing people in, carrying them through, engaging them in multi-layered activities, and projecting them back into the surrounding urban fabric. Weaving is used as a metaphor to describe this process, and as an organising device for building programmes .
